This state has an alarming obesity rate, but North Carolina is trying to help the people suffering from this condition. In 2016, the state launched an initiative to put an end to this problem. It launched activities via the State Public Health Actions program. The goal was to introduce physical activities to the residents’ daily lives to bring down the obesity rate in North Carolina.

Not many Americans think about Puerto Rico that much, but that does not change the fact that it is part of the country! Sadly, this also means that it is suffering from obesity.
