One way you can tell a soldier apart is by observing how they walk! You will notice that those who were in the military will do it with a sense of control and purpose. If you are a civilian, you will likely have to increase your pace to walk alongside them!

If you need to know the time, soldiers might answer you in military time. Yes, that means 10 PM is 22:00 to them. It’s actually more efficient. There is no chance of confusing AM for PM in this system!
