Brass To The Grass
If you’re not quite sure what “brass to the grass” means, then it probably means you were never a soldier. It actually refers to when you’re loading your weapon and which side faces the ground. Well it’s the brass side to the ground. So the term actually lives on after you serve – sometimes in weird and wonderful ways, like when you’re loading staples into a stapler!
