In 2013, Natalie Suleman started her major life overhaul and she openly admitted that she had been “foolish, immature and selfish” for bearing so many children without much thought. In addition, she admits that at the time, she did not think about the possible outcomes of her choices, but she also said she does not regret anything. With this confession, she continues to concentrate on raising her kids as they are her top priority and she said she has no interest in finding love for now since she is content with the celibate life she has. Her account on social media shows the different life she is leading now and how her family is doing, plus some amazing lessons and values that she teaches to her fourteen children.

Raising 14 children is definitely not easy, but Natalie Suleman does it quite well. She is renting a two-bedroom apartment and she and her kids survive on food stamps and by living paycheck to paycheck. In an interview with Daily Mail, she said that after enduring the hardships she had gone through looking after a lot of children on her own, she now feels “at peace,” partly because she uses her story to inspire women to make decisions that are right for them and their families. Natalie does not even want to be called “Octomom” anymore because she said, “I didn’t want to live. I felt less than human as that character I was pretending to be, to survive and provide for my family.”
