As a mother of fourteen kids, Natalie Suleman is happier these days, enjoying life by spending time with her youngest children, the octuplets Noah, Nariya, Maliyah, Makai, Isaiah, Josiah, Jonah, and Jeremiah, and enjoying every moment with her older kids: Caleb and Calyssa (11-year-old twins), Aiden (12), Joshua (14), Amerah (16), and Elijah (17). For her kids to live a life that is more stable, she decided to go back to Laguna, Orange County, her hometown. Natalie said she hopes her children are proud of her and the person she has become. She said to the Daily Mail, “I was forced into doing things I didn’t want to do because I was so terrified I couldn’t support them and give them the life they deserved.”

A Normal Family

Natalie Suleman is a pretty hands-on mother who has completely given up on having a social life, meaning she has quite a close relationship with each of her children. She commented to the Daily Mail that “They fight, play, fight and play again like any normal family.” One other challenge that Natalie is facing is Aiden’s autism, but Natalie’s kids are not deterred and instead look out for their brother always. All the fourteen Suleman children are aware that their home life is pretty different from other typical American families but Natalie has always taught her kids that being different is okay and there is nothing wrong about it.
