John and his friends installed an electrical line to be able to illuminate the space inside the hatch. In addition, they set up a black pipe in order to funnel in fresh air. They were nearly at their final goal. Over five decades later, the mystery that surrounded the underground cavern would finally be solved.

After the team finished widening the entrance, it looked so much better. Even with the heat in Arizona, they continued working and at that point, reached the part that everybody was looking forward to the most. Finally, John felt secured to enter and explore the discovery in his backyard. Everybody, especially John, had been waiting for this.
