Ronald Reagan’s Death
After suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, Ronald Reagan had a complication that led to him getting pneumonia and ultimately his death in 2004. The former president was struggling with Alzheimer’s for 10 years before he died at age 93. Today his body lays in the Ronald Regan National Library in California.
Richard M. Nixon – 142.9
Richard M. Nixon, the 37th president of the United States is honored for his skill in foreign affairs negotiation. He served from 1969- 1974 and managed to take the US out of involvement in the Vietnam War. He was the first to start a relationship with China, after signing the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty with the USSR. He also served as VP to resident Dwight “Ike” Eisenhower from 1953 until 1961, where he had many incredible accomplishments like desegregating the south, funding the environmental protection agency, launching the “War on Cancer” and signing the anti-crime bill. He is credited with the famous watergate scandal, and if it weren’t for this he would have been placed here. Although he is incredibly controversial, he is incredibly smart with an IW of 142.9.
