The 40th president of the United States with an IW of 141.9 is Ronald Regan and he served for eight years from 1981- 1989. While he did many things, he is most remembered for his Reaganomics economic policy, which emphasized low social spending, domestic market deregulation, high military spending, and widespread tax cuts. He is also acknowledged for the Iran-Contra affair, occurring at the end of the Cold War, and his legendary speech at the Berlin Wall, where he told Soviet General Secretary Gorbachev to “tear down this wall!”
