Two Black Jaguars
Owned Since: 1968
Valued At: $56,000*
The queen owns two scarce black jaguar cats. The jaguars’ names are Aizita and Marques, and they live in the London Zoo, together with the other exotic animals that the queen was gifted with. The elusive black jaguar is the rarest of all panthers. Only 600 exist in the wild due to hunting and habitat destruction. In the dense vegetation, more black jaguars than non-black jaguars are found. To ensure that the jaguars remain happy and healthy, animal experts are on duty round the clock.

Offshore Wind Farm
Owned Since: 2010
Valued At: $900 million*
Most people do not realize that there are several different renewable energy projects actually owned by the Crown. The seabed and anything erected on it are owned by the British Queen. The wind farm, just a few miles off the coast, was constructed in 2010. The cost is staggering, and it was developed for $900 million by the company. In 2004, the Crown announced the project, but it was not finished until 6 years later. Analysts predict that her wind farms will generate millions of dollars for Queen Elizabeth.
