It is safe to call South Park one of the biggest shows to ever air on Comedy Central. Still, we are sure that it would have gone off the air much earlier if it were not animated. The creators of the show have made $500 million in residuals from the show. In case you are not familiar with it, the series follows juvenile delinquents called Kyle, Stan, and Cartman. The creators of the show met in college and voice the characters. The TV show first came on the air in 1997. It now has more than twenty seasons. On the show, it is not rare to hear shots fired at Family Guy and The Simpsons.

Up next, we want to talk about one more DC superhero origin story. Arrow follows the rise of Green Arrow and first went on air in 2012. Did you know that it has since spawned two spinoffs? We are talking about The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. All three of these shows are set in the Arrowverse. Stephen Amell played the main superhero, who happens to be a billionaire playboy. The show enjoyed a run of eight seasons and 170 episodes. This means that it has nearly double the number of episodes that Gotham did! Production of the show took place in Vancouver. Amell is said to make as much as a hundred thousand bucks from reruns of the show.
