In the case of Karen Klaas’, her friends were standing at the back door of her house in California and were shouting out her name, which for a response that Karen gave them, they only heard a muted cry causing them all to rush into the front door of the house. After rushing towards the front door, the group saw a man leaving the house. Without them knowing, this man already left Karen with strangles. It will take up to 40 years for investigators to discover who this man was.

But before we tackle the tragedy that happened last January 30, 1976. Let us first discover a bit more about the life that Karen Klaas had. While attending California’s Santa Ana High School, she had her best friend back then which was named Bill Medley. The tables turned when she showed up in one of Medley’s gigs, once was a friend who turned to be in a romantic relationship. Medley was a musician who happened to be a solo artist and a part of the duo “The Righteous Brother.”
