Jane Curtin – Then
Jane Curtin, a comedian, and actress, was crowned “Queen of the Dead” in 1975 and joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. Throughout her time on SNL, Curtin was praised by the show’s writer, Al Franken, for her hard work and “strong moral center.” Even though most of the SNL cast members went on to bigger things, Curtin chose to stay on TV with Susan Saint James as Single Mother Allie Lowell in Kate & Alley from 1984 to 1989.
