The First Recording
The day had finally come. The camera was set, and his wife went about her usual routine, taking Max into the bathroom with her. The husband waited anxiously, pretending to be engrossed in his work while secretly watching the clock. When the shower ended and his wife emerged, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She was cheerful and carried on as usual. But now he had the footage, the key to uncovering her hidden motivations. He couldn’t wait to review it, but at the same time, a part of him feared what he might find.

Later that evening, after his wife had gone to bed, the husband retrieved the camera. He felt a strange mixture of anticipation and anxiety as he prepared to watch the recording. Sitting down in front of his laptop, he plugged in the camera and hit play. The video began, showing his wife leading Max into the bathroom, just as he had suspected. His pulse quickened as the scene unfolded. Would this reveal some deep secret? Or would it simply confirm that it was nothing more than a harmless habit? He leaned forward, eyes glued to the screen.
