It is often boring to wait in line as it can get tiring. Why not catch your pal’s car with a few winks while you wait? Sleeping on the hood of a car was the next best thing for individuals who did not come with tents. It might not have been very comfortable, we must admit, but perhaps it was better than sleeping on the ground. At least, with rainwater, you’d just get wet and not get dirty with muddy water.
