In the years leading up to that, she was also struggling with substance abuse and DUI. Due to her awful record, WWE cut her out. In an attempt to get back on track, it is said that she entered rehab. Under the name Chyna, Joan Marie Laurer entered the world of wrestling in the ’90s. Thanks to her appearance in the King of the Ring and Royal Rumble matches, she was the first female wrestler to make it big. For other women in the field, she paved the path! In order to earn her titles and accolades, she worked hard. She decided to focus on wrestling after she quit wrestling and released an autobiography.
