Mr. Wrestling II

Johnny Walker actually started wrestling back in 1956 but his character Mr. Wrestling II was only created in the early 1970s. When he started competing as a wrestler who wore a mask, he became quite successful and was considered to be among the five most popular wrestlers in the United States. It is even believed that former President Jimmy Carter was one of his fans. The ultimate champion passed in 2020.

CM Punk

Not a lot of people know that aside from being a professional American wrestler, CM Punk is also an expert in mixed martial arts. As a matter of fact, CM Punk, or Phillip Jack Brooks, quit wrestling to focus more on his career in the MMA. He explicitly stated he had no intention of returning to the wrestling industry, but it is clear to see that the 40-something-year-old had changed his mind because he returned to WWE. The biggest shock has to be the fact that he now wears a mask!
