An e-cigarette may seem safer than an actual one, but according to a BMJ research author, “no safe level of smoking exists for cardiovascular disease”. In 2017, a study showed that smoking even one cigarette a day may lead to stroke and heart disease. E-cigarettes in no way reduce these odds, but rather increase your likelihood for developing coronary artery disease and having a heart attack, as well as having emotional distress.

Stay Away From Secondhand Smoke
A study published by Secondhand Smoke Exposure and Cardiovascular Effects reveals that inhaling secondhand smoke cause a 30 percent increase in your risk for heart disease. Try to limit your exposure to smoke, whether it’s you who is smoking or you are next to a person who is smoking.
