Rebecca Luker was an American actress, singer, and recording artist noted throughout her three-decade-long career for her “crystal clear operatic soprano” and maintaining long runs in Broadway musicals. She was compared by The New York Times to actresses like Barbara Cook and Julie Andrews. She has been nominated for three Tony Awards, three Circle Awards for Outer Critics, and two Drama Desk Awards. However, on December 23, she died at 59 years of age. It was 10 months after Luker announced she had been diagnosed with ALS that the news came.
Jeremy Bulloch
The English actor was Jeremy Andrew Bulloch. He won recognition for creating the physical portrayal of Boba Fett in the Star Wars franchise during a career that spanned more than six decades, appearing as the character in the films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He returned to the franchise for 2005’s Revenge of the Sith in a different role. However, he died on Thursday, December 17, at 75 years of age.
