Michael Keaton
We do not know who your favorite person to play Batman is, but Michael Keaton is definitely one of the greatest. After all, there is a reason his performance in Bat Returns got so much critical acclaim. However, he took off the Bat cape when Joel Schumacher replaced Tim Burton as the director of Batman Forever, the third installment in the series. Out of loyalty to Burton, Keaton made the decision to hand over the role to a different actor. This was how Val Kilmer ended up stepping in to take up the role of this dark superhero! We have to say that this is a pretty cool reason to leave a project.
Pamela Anderson
This star made it big by playing CJ Parker on Baywatch from the third season until the seventh. During her four years on the drama, she was able to become a cultural icon with her blonde locks and red swimsuit. However, she eventually decided that it was time for her to leave the show so that she could pursue more acting and modeling gigs. The good news is that it had been an amicable split. She eventually worked with her old castmates again for a 2003 reunion special called Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. When her character had to be written off, the show decided to make CJ leave in order to go to Mexico with a musician! If you ask us, this is not a bad way to go.
