Showtime drama The Affair has earned a lot of fans over the years. In 2019, many of them were sad to hear that Ruth Wilson would no longer be working on the show. The actress did not really explain why she did this, but it is almost certain that creative differences played a part in it. Her decision to leave the show took the viewers by surprise, even though it seemed like the inevitable fate of her character. It must be hard wondering how things would have gone if the show kept going as originally intended.

In 2002, people found out that Rob Lowe was going to leave The West Wing after CNN ran a story on it. It was later confirmed that he decided to leave because he was not happy with how much he was getting paid for it. He asked for a rise, which NBC turned down. This was the reason he decided to leave the show. After this, he went on to work for ABC on a show called Brothers and Sisters but eventually came back to NBC to star in Parks and Recreation. Once the sitcom came to an end, Lowe started to work on a first responder drama called Fox 9-1-1: Lone Star.
