Angus T. Jones

In the early 2000s, Angus T. Jones started to play Jake Harper in Two and a Half Men. He kept playing the same role for a while. Even though he has not explained the reason behind his departure, it was a long time coming for him. The character disappeared all of a sudden in the finale of the tenth season. CBS then announced that, by the eleventh season, Jake would no longer be a regular on the show. In 2014, the actor confirmed that he really was going to leave sitcom. However, the statement that he released about his decision had been quite murky, to say the least.

Daniel Gillies

Joel, the character played by Daniel Gillies, met his doom while pulling a bomb off a patient and killing himself in the process. It was a shocking finale, but we daresay that the departure of the actor from the show was not all that surprising. He had Vampire Diaries lined up, so he was more than ready for Saving Hope to come to an end. However, the actor continued to defend the show and showing that it had been an amicable split. When the network first canceled the show, he said that it was “bizarre,” “unfortunate,” and “unfair to the show.” After backlash from the fans, the Canadian medical drama was reinstated. Whew!
