Brussels Sprouts
For some reason or other, Brussel sprouts are not commonly eaten in many parts of the world. But for those who do include this vegetable in their diets have said they have experienced weight loss in small amounts. They are also one of the foods that will make you feel fuller for so much longer in the day. One cup of Brussels sprouts has 40 calories and is a great source of fiber, vitamin C, and vitamin K. However, it is recommended that you don’t eat Brussel sprouts everyday and rather on the odd occasion.
Oysters
A lesser-known nourishing powerhouse comes from the ocean. Shellfish such as oysters are packed with protein and so many different healthy fats that have been proven to aid with weight loss. Oysters are also rich in nutrients such as vitamin B12, zinc, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids. All around, oysters promote a healthy brain, heart, and immune system.
