This Terrifying Snake Of The Amazon Rainforest
With a maximum weight of 550 pounds and a maximum length of 30 feet, the Green Anaconda is the biggest snake in the world. Not only that, but it is also the largest reptile on the planet! It is not the longest snake out there, but it is bigger than anything else when the weight is taken into consideration. This snake lives in remote areas across central South America. It normally sticks to spots near the bodies of water in the Amazon. They keep growing throughout their lives and are primarily nocturnal animals that eat caimans, capybaras, deer, tapirs, and even jaguars! They are truly terrifying creatures.
The Biggest Frog Species On The Planet
Even though it is not the biggest amphibian on the planet, the Goliath frog is still the biggest living frog species on Earth. It is possible for them to weigh more than seven pounds. They reside in the rivers of African countries such as Cameroon and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. These creatures eat turtles, crabs, spiders, worms, insects, and smaller frogs. They also eat snakes, but only the small ones since the bigger ones eat their eggs. Even though Goliath frogs have a maximum lifespan of 15 years, they are now considered to be an endangered species like the other animals on the list.
