The obesity rate of Montana is pretty low as of 2019. To be specific, it is in the sixth-lowest place since only a little more than 26 percent of the residents are considered obese. The credit goes to the stage programs promoting unprocessed and nutritious food in hospitals and schools. In general, the local authorities are working to fix the obesity problem and improve public health.

Even though Utah is faring better than many other states out there, it is not necessarily doing all right. The majority of the locals are in pretty good shape, but they see a steady weight gain. On the bright side, it is not as much as other areas in the country. This came from the yearly “State of Obesity” report by the Trust for America’s Health. The numbers show that things are only getting worse.
