Connecticut – 29.1% Obesity Rate

Obesity is a real health concern across the United States. The condition affects nearly one in three adults! In Connecticut, 21.6 percent of the locals said they did not participate in physical activity within the month. This does not bode well for the state, but it is good that 28.5 percent of adults said they eat veggies three or more times in a day. What we do know is that things can still improve.

Did you know that more than a third of the local population of Guam is obese? The number of overweight adults on the island has been going up and posing a more serious risk to the population. As a matter of fact, 60 percent of deaths are linked to chronic diseases brought about by poor diet and lifestyle. This means that obesity has literally been taking lives.
