The only president in US History to never walk down the aisle was James Buchanan, 15 presidents. While he never fully expressed why he didn’t want to marry, it’s most likely, because he was, focused on his career to spend time on anything else.

Zachary Taylor, also known as “Old Rough and Ready” was the 12th president of the US but was actually in office for a short time after suffering from a fatal disease known as Cholera. Before stepping into the white house, he was a beloved war hero and this is where he received his nickname. He was elected in 1849 and focused greatly on the issue of slavery. Ironically, he had slaves of his own but took the stance of being anti-slavery. Also during his presidency, he urged New Mexico and California to become states. This war hero had a pretty low IQ of 139,8 if we’re comparing him to the other leaders.
