Unexpected Death
Taylor’s abrupt death lead to much speculation. Many were sure he consumed poisoned ice water or milk, while others blamed his large consumption of cherries on the 4th of July that year. It’s funny to think that in the 1800s they thought that too many cherries could lead to death!
