Connecticut only makes it into the top five most educated states, ranking fourth in educational attainment but ninth in educational quality. Yale University, which Forbes rated as America’s third-best school overall, is located in Connecticut, which also has one of the world’s highest percentages and graduate degree holders. Unfortunately, residents of the state have some of the highest student debts in the nation, with an average of $38,546.
