Just 6% of its adults have not completed high school, helping New Hampshire rank sixth in the nation for overall educational attainment. On the other hand, New Hampshire scored lower than all of the other schools in the top ten on this list regarding educational results. It was ranked 27th best by WalletHub. Furthermore, New Hampshire had the highest average student loan debt globally, at $39,410, and the highest percentage of debt-ridden postsecondary graduates, at 74 percent.
New Jersey – Adults With At Least A Bachelor’s Degree: 44%
In the Garden State, young minds are blossoming. New Jersey is ranked fifth in terms of educational quality and tenth in terms of educational attainment. The state has several postsecondary graduates: it’s tied for the fourth position with Connecticut in terms of people with a bachelor’s degree. At fifth in the nation by Forbes, Princeton, an Ivy League school, is based in New Jersey. In 2019, New Jersey’s overall unemployment rate was 3.6 percent, marginally lower than the national average.
